Cool Art Installation.

German design students recently installed a temporary exhibit at Munich's Modern Art Museum called The Third Space. The students built this heavenly bird's nest-like space using almost 1,300,000 cable ties -- those things we all use to organize the mess of wires under our desks...

Crayola Sculptures.

Designer, Diem Chau, from Seattle, creates her "Storytelling" crayon sculptures using a woodblock carving knife. "I’m fascinated when everyday objects become works of art."

Rodin Visits Malaga.

KormaCurry & I took a great daytrip to Malaga, Spain. It was a lovely, sunny day. We walked into the old town and amazingly enough, saw that the street was blocked off, looked up and saw The Thinker, a very famous Rodin bronze and many others on loan from Paris. We stumbled upon a little square where we had a tapas break and an amazing glass of Northern Spanish Rose'.

Doll Parts...

When KormaCurry & I were in Barcelona galavanting around Las Ramblas, we found these tiny plastic case doll vignettes in an empty shop window. #1 dolls seem to be wearing some sort of thigh-high white doll boots.

Look closely at #2. Is the Virgin Mary scolding the tiny dolls or perhaps giving them a small thread of wisdom?
